ADHD Self Test

The World Health Organization has prepared a self-screening questionnaire you can use to determine if you might have adult ADHD. The Adult Self-Report Scale (ASRS) Screener will help you recognize the signs and symptoms of adult ADHD. The ASRS is comprised of 6 questions that are ranked on a scale of 0 to 4.

This self test is a starting point, not meant as a way to diagnose yourself. Bring your completed test to your health care provider to help start the conversation.

How To Approach Talking To My Provider About ADHD

So you think you might have ADHD…now what? Now it is time to talk to your provider. This can be a tricky conversation to initiate, so it's important to be prepared.

Make A List:

Make a list of symptoms you've been experiencing. Be as specific as possible in describing what, where, and how…

What symptoms you are experiencing.

Where in your life do they show up the most.

How does it effect you and your day to day life.

Do Your Homework!

Do some research ahead of time by using the resources we have provided on our website.

Come to the conversation armed with knowledge about ADHD, your symptoms, and what treatments are available.

Be Honest AF…

We know it can be hard to admit some of these things, however trust that your provider has heard it before and if they are a great provider they will help without judgement.

Be honest about any challenges you've been facing in your life that you think may be related to ADHD.

This also includes being honest with your provider if you have tried someone else's ADHD medication (it really helps them determine which one might work or not work for you).

We absolutely love these affirmations!

And for those who want to empower their inner Bad B*tch
